ok.. i know this might get asked alot.. but i seem to be havein troubles withthis..i'm starting to buy corals.. so there for i'm trying to get my water flow right. how do you know you have enough current for ur tank? i had two heads on low.. and my corals looked like the water was beating them.. ( galaxia and a green star polyp).

If it looks like the water was beating them, than it probably was. Double check and research their water flow preference and place them in an indirect flow of what you would feel is an appropriate level. Give them up to a week in that area. If they don't begin to open up in this time, move them to a lower flow. If you are seeing signs of immidiate stress like excessive polyp recession, than move them to a lower flow area. Also, if ANY stress is shown, double check all water parameters and lighting. This, too, could be a cause of stress and not just the flow.

Luckily, the GSPs whould be fine almost any where you put them. The Galaxia species might be a little more difficult, but shouldn't be too hard. Just remember to never place a coral directly infront of a powerhead. You could blow the tissue right off. Trust me, I did this with a birdsnest when I first started :)
