I am trying to decide which way to go. They both seem to be good products! Any input for or against one would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks

Do your self a favor and just get the squirt. So much less hassel.I had a wave 2k and while mine worked great for the time i used it.they are very intrusive and none of your rock work can touch them because they flex.I will give it a "thumbs up" for the flow though.JMHO

Wrassie,

I'm thinking about getting a Wave2K as well and was interested in what you were meaning by rock working touching the unit. Do you mean they can't be obstructed by it or just can't lean any on it?

Thanks,

Minh

Everyone I know that has a wave2k has had nothing but problems, Tunze Wavebox is the way to go, very easy to setup

Exactly that,No rocks can lean against the machine or block the flow.unless maybe just touching the corners or something. But the front flexs up to a 1/2 inch or so.Also if placed in the middle of the tank they can reak havoc on a sand bed.they do have some sand deflectors if you ask and they must be glued on,i found that they worked "ok".
