I would have more than that for flow, the wavebbox is more of an adjunct to flow than a complete solution, on my 120 I use a wavebox and a 6000.

2 6000 Streams with 7095 controller

1 Wavebox and a 6000 Stream with 7091 controller

1 Wavebox and a 6100 Stream with 7091 controller

2 6000 Streams with 7095 controller

2 6100 Streams with 7095 controller

1 Wavebox and two Maxijets :lol:

I'm setting up a 120 predominately SPS reef tank. I have enough $$$ for a wavebox or a Stream right now. What would your gameplan be? I do have other powerheads I could use in the tank for now.

Tough call, given that the Stream flow is more necessary and the wavebox flow looks nice and is definitely beneficial but you can live without it I would go Stream. Sure, you could use other powerheads but given the energy savings and all the factors of needing multiple pumps to replace one and the possible need for a chiller, the practical start is a 6000 Stream.
