I have been looking for an alternative to my current flow (three Koralias) I really like the motion of a wavebox, but wonder who runs one? experiences? Anyone able to compare Vortech and Tunze Comline Wavebox?

Thanks!

Wave boxes are great depending on application and available tank space.

Cons: in tank footprint
mounting areas- doesn't work great with euro bracing
aesthetics

Pros: creates a great wave that can be tuned pretty easily
nano still works in a pretty good sized tank
tunze has the best customer service I have ever had
My 6-8 year old tunzes are still kicking so longevity versus cost is better IMO than
vortechs
Quieter than a vortech

That being said I do own two vortechs and they work well for my purposes but they are noticeably noisy being backed up to a wall.
