WavySea Ocean simulation

I run one on my 120gal...You can click the red house at the top of this post for details on my tank. But I am really really pleased with it. I am glad I went for it instead of a sea swirl. The only thing I think I could have been just as happy with would have been an oceanmotion. Granted it is compleatly diffrent, but I think that is the only other method that would have given me the wave results I was looking for. All in all I am very pleased.

I do have one large complaint though. Based on how you secure it to the tank I could not put it on the back of the tank. The glass is too thick, and it would not fit. So I had to attach it to the center brace. Seems like they should have been able to get around this problem, but oh well.

it fits up to 3/4 acrylic/ glass

Yea, I have 1/2in glass....but the problem is with the lip that goes around the tank it does not work.

?? how thick is the lip?
I will have to mesure it but my guess is 1 inch....the way my unit is a U bracket that can not be adjusted and you just screw in screws to hold it. Well that U does not come very close to fitting. Maybe if I cut stuff, but it just is not worth that. It should be two peices that screw togther acting as a clamp IMO. If they were really clever they would have it mold to the lip somehow.

I'm impatiently awaiting my wavySeas! hope it's worth the $$. It should be here tomorrow.
