we have drip

the new labatt blue light with lime will be made in rochester!

Good luck on the tank hunt Gary...keep us updated.

I'm not a beer drinker but we were out of town this weekend and we ended up in a really small town in Pennsylvania (I forget which one) but it was the home town of Yingling. Beautiful place nestled in the mountains.

Pottsville, PA. "Yuengling".

Gary Majchrzak: Reef Innovator.

First the mini carpet anemones.

Now the two gallons a day slow drip water change. Impressive sir! Someday I hope to be on the cutting edge like you :-)

So, when is the big move and have you guys worked out the logistics of it? We know that the destination is the museum, but not the details of the host tank or how you plan to make the switch.

Sam Adams was just bought out by Bud. They are made in the USA but I dont like beer that has rice in it.

Sry about the beer info. I worked with the stuff for years.

Not to stray off topic, but where did you hear that Sam was purchased by Anheuser Busch?

AB was purchased by Inbev last year, however to the best of my knowledge Sam Adams and the Boston Beer Company became the largest American owned Brewery when AB was sold out.

FWIW I personally just offered to help him if he needed anything, he isn't bringing anything to the museum. Though if he decides to quit the hobby and wanted to donate his corals I'm sure we could find a place for them.... ;)

Well, I guess I was fooled by Magdelan's joke and actually thought that Gary had worked out some arrangement with the museum to house his livestock until he makes up his mind what he wants to do. Was anyone else this naive or was it just me?

because the current leak is a "slow drip water change" :) I can afford the time to locate a replacement aquarium while still holding onto everything.

FWIW I was saddened when Anheuser Busch was finally aquired by foreign interests (although I stopped purchasing Budweiser years ago).

I hadn't heard that the Boston Beer Co. (Sam Adams) was purchased by anyone and Yuengling is okay by me but not a preferred flavor of mine.

I don't mean to wish you ill Gary, but I do look forward to seeing where you take this. It's like a "new canvas" is upon us. My personal motivations are that I lack artistic vision and prefer to steal ideas. If you revise your tank before I move, it's more material for me to plagiarize.

believe it or not

believe it or not

I haven't put much thought into where I'm going with this.
Life is very busy for me right now. Replacing this aquarium isn't what I want to do right now but my hand is being forced.
I originally had wanted this aquarium to be 72" x 30" x 30" but those dims are a custom build. Right after I set this aquarium up Perfecto came out with their "Deep Dimension" line but the closest Perfecto comes to a 72 x 30 x 30 is their 300 gallon 72 long x 27 high x 36 wide.
I'm thinkin' my wife will balk at the 36" wide.....
