Weekends out of town

We either don't go away...or we have someone come in and feed them. 
One day away isn't usually a problem. Two days away on a consitent basis definitely would be a problem.
Since seahorses have no stomach, ideally they should be fed twice a day (some people even feed small amounts 3 times a day) so skipping two entire days wouldn't be a wise thing to do.
Unfortunately if you're gone the entire weekend each week, I wouldn't suggest considering seahorses for your tank.

I order live salt water shrimp, about a hundred per horse and toss them in the system. Depending on the size tank and horse you have would depend on the number you should do.

If I'm gone for more then 5 days, I have someone come over who know about aquariums to check things out, fill up the top off unit, clean the pump intake in the sump, do a water change, and add more live feeder shrimp.
