Weird bubble growing out of my Frogspawn

Hello all
My frogspawn has had this wierd bubble thing in it for about 5 days now and I have no idea what it is. The coral seems unaffected and during the times when it is completly opened you can't hardly see it. I thought that maybe it was expelling waste but it hasn't gone away for almost a week now.
Any ideas?

Are you sure, reefman? It looks scary to me. First time I've seen it. I thought they budded from the side.

I'm pretty sure, yes. I have had them bud from the side as well. My frogspawn buds from the side while my hammer does the "balloon bubble". I had a hammer that only had one head and then this bubble appeared for a few weeks, shortly after that there were 2 heads. After that the 2 heads each had a tumor looking bubble before they split into 4 heads. This is not from a book or anything, itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s just my experience. Time will tell.

Mine does the same when it splits. It also does the budding from the side.

Don't worry, your doing something right and your coral is growing.

Thanks everyone. THis is reassuring. This coral had only 2 heads when I bought it and now it has about 11 or 12. When it has grown in the past however it has always divided and never done this whole bubble thing.
