well it has been a good couple months since my last update...so here is some pictures for you to enjoy...let me know what you think..
Just before tank was 2 years old;

and now....my toadstool leather went for a crap, the head split itself like three ways then the stalk started to rot, so i cut it down, kept a couple heads i will see how they do in the next week or so..alas, i found a pretty sweet replacement..

a close up of the gorg and the chalice, the chalice had crazy mad sweepers out in the pic, but i cant see them in the pic...

and one more:

Still very nice. You passed critical stages in small reefs where algae and tank feeding are tricky how do you manage those two details

Beautiful! Specs on tank/Parameters?

thank you, honestly i dont know...i know my SG is 1.033, and the temp is between 78-80....no clue what the rest are, never test them...

Vary nice setup!!

hmmm, good question, not sure...
i feed about 3-4 pinches of Tropic marin PRO-coral phyton, and that is it, i just mix t right into the tank with my pinched fingers...my damsel comes out and eats the big chunks and the coral i assume get the rest, what they miss i think is eaten by the thousands of worms and snails in there...then if any goes down the tube it settles out in my sump where i have a bunch of crabs and starfish...and then there is a piece of filter floss to catch anything else...i always forget to change the floss though...the last piece just went for three weeks...yikes...i try to get it at least once a week, more frequent if i remember...

algae i have none, other then the bits of green coraline growing on the glass...and sometimes a tiny bit of filimentous grows from the coraline...

other then that lots of flow, and i turkey baste the rocks once a week too to try and get the poop out of them...and the sand too, just cant blast it that hard or goes all over the corals...

i am sure this tank is a ticking time bomb, but for now it is doing really well, and i dont like to fix things that arent visibly broken...

if i have time this weekend i will be doing a 40% water change, i think the last one was around christmas or so...however i am picking up a hot tub this weekend so a water change could quite easily end up on the back burner...

oh yeah and a couple more pics with the gorg open...
