Hey everybody!
I've been lurking here on this forum for a long time trying to soak up as much info as I could on mantis shrimp husbandry. I went to my LFS the other day to get some livestock for my 29 gallon tank and I asked the guy, out of curiousity, if he ever got any mantis shrimp in. He said the had two of them in the shop. I looked at them and was hooked. It's one thing to see them in pictures, but to see them in real-life is more amazing. I rushed home and prepared my 10 gallon tank. I put 20 lbs of crushed coral in there and about 6 lbs. of live rock. I also put an Emperor 400 power filter that I had on there. Just wanted to let you all know that there is yet another reefer who has gone the way of the mantis.
