Wet storage for test vials

I know I went crazy looking for a suitable storage solution to wet store my Hanna and RSP vials. I came across this on Amazon. It's the perfect height to accommodate both.

Cheap enough as well. Thought I'd post it here in case others were looking to do similarly.

US Acrylic Organizer

I was using an open tray that would get dust filled and the vials would never stay standing.

does plain water get the scum off the rs mag vial. I have to use vinegar and sometimes muriatic acid to get it clean.

I rinse them in RO immediately after the test then they're filled with RO and submerged in the drawers of that organizer. Prior to that it was the same except they sat in an open tray. They're agin rinsed in RO and then tank water, prior to using them for testing. Haven't seen that scaling build-up on the Mg test vials if I follow those procedures. Once in a while I clean them all in a large ultrasonic cleaner using RO. They come crystal clear after that.

How often do you change out the water?

In the storage drawers or the tray I had? Only topped it up from evaporation. This should do better in terms of evaporation and the dust and junk that used to settle in the open tray.

Again, the vials are rinsed in RO and then tank water before performing tests. The wet storage prevents spots from forming on the glass, especially important on the inside for the Hanna vials, so the readings aren't as skewed as they could be.

Awsome thanks... just ordered mine

YW :) My work area is less cluttered and they vials more secure. Ten bucks was a bargain :)
