What Are these Little Things in My Refugium????

I was just looking at my refugium this evening and I noticed what appear to be very very small 'bugs' swarming over the sandbed. I am guessing that it is some type of phytoplankton but wanted to double check. They are too small to take a picture of. They are definately much smaller than pods, which tend to 'float' or scurry across the sand and live rock. These little bugs look like they are flying (hence my swarming comment) over the sand.

Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for your comments.

I don't think they are baby mysis or baby cleaner shrimp. I don't have either in my fuge or my main tanks.

Scubasteve, from what I read on your link the Tiger pods are some of the large copepods and they live in water salinity of .38 ppt. My water salinity is 1.025.

Thanks, though for your input.

Really...I was hoping you would say that. Then I can put them in my main tank when I scoop out some live sand from my fuge. I am 'seeding' my new tank so this would be very good to have in the new tank and my new fuge. Thanks a bunch.
