In pictures sometimes i see these tube worm looking corals and sometimes they have a bunch of pink tendrils coming out of the top. Ill try to google a pic, sorry for the lack of info lol

Ill try to find a picture but im on my dumb phone i wont be home until later tonight ill try to post a pic then. Also there is another one i LOVE. If you google "tube coral" its the second search result under images. Its orange or yellow tubes, does anyone know what these are or of they are good for reef tanks?

I don't know the latin name, but Sun Corals may be what you are thinking of. Their polyps can be trained to open during the day, but they usually only do it at night. They are non-photosynthetic, so each one of the polyps has to be spot fed.

upon searching google for what you saw, it is a yellow tube sponge. Not sure on the latin name, but sponges in general are quite difficult to keep without the proper setup. They are non-photosynthetic, requiring supplemental feeding daily. Also, if they touch air throughout the handling process it can get trapped within them, causing them to disintegrate into nothing. Not impossible to keep, but you really need to be dedicated to them.
