What Clam can I get?????????

Anybody with experience that can guide me in the right direction?

I am interested in obtaining a clam preferebly a Maxima or Crocea.

Lighting
150 Watt MH IWASAKI 6500K
2x 55watt PC 10000K
2x 55watt PC 03 Actinic

You definately have good lighting for your size tank. With that you may keep either Maxima, or crocea clams.

Now that does depend on what type of other reef dwellers you have.

Also water parameters are very important.

Can you giove us a run down of your water parameters?

I would try to go with a easy less expensive clam first and see how that dose, but if you heart is content on a maxima/crocea clam then make sure you hav every thing in you tank perfect. Exept the nitrate/nitrite because clams suck them up. If you go with a easy clam to keep go with a derasa or squmosoa ( how ever you spell it). But i shouldnt be talking becuase i got an blue maxima for my first clam, and its doing great!

I think as long as your water is in good shape, you have a nice place to keep clams!

Any of them should be fine under that lighting.
