What do they eat?

So, I've read a lot about the various inverts I've put into my tank. But, I've never considered what I have to feed them! :eek1: Yikes!

Where does one look up that kind of info? It isn't on the web pages where I ordered them.

Specifically: Harlequin Serpernt Star, button polyps, and ricordea.

I assume that snails and hermits will eat the waste and what is left over?

Thanks,
Eric

Sepent stars typically aren't pick. The button polyps and Ricordea might benefit from feeding some phytoplankton, like DT's or a cryo-paste.

That book has a lot of useful information on feeding corals.

the button polyps and ricordia will be mostly photosynthetic. do a google search oin the items. another really good book series is the Modern Coral Reef Aquarium. they are a bit pricey but full of info!

szwab, they are expensive.

Saw that they are from Germany... maybe I can get my mother to check if she can ge them for cheap in Germany and send them. Hmmmm...

Thanks for the pointer.
