What do you think of your Jebao pump/wavemakers?

I've had my wp40 since late july. Can't speak to longevity, but it really is just awesome. I pulled all other power heads from my 75 after installing it. As things grow and block flow, I will likely look at another or a 25 to supplement, but its been solid, moves a ton of water, and runs quiet enough that other 'tank sounds' drown out the tiny hum it does produce.
Unless other manufacturers bring prices down to compete with it, or I see degradation over time, I will likely never by another brand again.

Nice
I want one, Couldn't you just load it up with thread tape to make a better seal?

Did you get it in a group buy?
I'm waiting for the next one to purchase mine

I run both submerged so I'm not sure if they're sealed or not. My main concern is that the connection is weakened due to the PVC seating improperly. I think it should be an easy fix with a 1-1/2" die. I got both of mine in the last group buy.

Just a note regarding a wp25 and wp40 I just received from China. Out of the box the wp40 ran flawlessly and quiet... tons of water movement in every mode and very happy with the product so far.

The wp25 crapped out immediately. The AC/DC adapter got very hot and sparked when installed to the wall outlet. The led lights on the controller stayed on briefly and then went out. The pump seems to be running but without any control...

I contacted the company and they said they are going to send me out a power adapter and new controller... just wondering if this a known issue.

I may put both of these pumps on a small ups just to protect what may be delicate power supply .... thoughts..?

Hey Matt,

Elsewhere on the forum there are quite a few other posts of the controller going bad, I want to say it was only with the wp25 though.
