What else do I need for my AC Jr?

If I want this to control my 3 MH and my VHO's do I need to buy a DC 4, 8 or X-10? I'm still trying to understand how the controller works.

What all does the Jr. come with?

If you buy a DC4HD you should be all set. I am running 2 - 250W MH's, 1 150W MH, and 4 VHO actinics off a DC4HD, with no problems. I do not know what the JR comes with, I am using the ACIII.

So I guess the DC 4 is not included?

The Neptune Systems website doesn't say that it is included. The DC 4 by itself is $124! I guess I will call them tomorrow and see what they recommend.

The Jr. does not come with the power strip -- that is an add on. I am running the DC8 with my AC Jr. and very happy with it.

On top of my MH and T5 lights, i am also running my CL pump, heater, fuge light, and canopy fans off of it.

The best package deal for the Jr is the Jr Base unit, temperature probe, and a DC8. The suggested retail price for this configuration is $249.95.
