What is happening to this superman monti?

This pic was taken a few weeks ago and not much has improved since then. A little blue has come back on the top tip but thats it.
Have any of you guys seen the base turn black like this?

supermans are known to change colors, that´s why there are supermans such as atlantis´that are known to pretty much keep the original superman colors. Where did you buy yours?

I got it from a local guy here in South East Wisconsin. The blue is starting to come back on the top of it. Wondering if I should cut that off and frag it or if it will "nurse" itself back to health.

if it is an "original" piece meant to have superman colors then it will change without the need to frag it as long as the parameters are kept in place.

For example, I have the original from atlantis and I was doing 10% waterchanges every 6 weeks. The colony became creamy looking, very dull, until I began doing 8% water changes weekly, it quickly got its original superman colors back.
