What is my Ric doing?

On the bottom left side of my Ric there is a "goo" coming down and what appears to be 3 mouths. Is this the way Ric's split?

congrats on the split.. mine do this all the time... you can also assist it by taking a razor and having the mother detach from the rest of the old foot... helps speed up the process..
