what is that?!!!

ther is a slug like thing in my tank that looks like common garden slug.it appeared maybe a week ago and never saw it again until today.
i walked in and was about to feed my fish when i noticed a cloud of white specs coming from a rock.closer examination showed the slug spewing them from its mouth area.later i saw small white dots on the front glass that had little arms.
what is that thing? and whats it doing?


Also my fish were eating the specs, they are damsels.

I would guess that the slug or whatever it was spawned. The spots on the glass sounds like a small polyp (perhaps a hydroid). A look at the id pages at www.melevsreef.com might help you.

do a search on polyclad flatworm. i had one in my tank and took me forever to identify it.
