what is the better ballast?

i was wondering which would be a better ballast for the Hamilton 250 watt 14k bulb. I would either get the icecap electronic or the PFO ballast. Is there any difference between the two? Because, if there is not, then i could get my new lumenarc socket wired for PFO "plug and play." i have heard a lot of good things about the icecap though so any input would be appreciated... thanks....

what up nemofish2217 I am currently using (and have been for a few years) an ice cap electronic ballast along with a 14k 250w de hamilton and i am very happy with both! I have to say that i am also using the PFO mini pendent as the reflector. I also considered the PFO for my ballast but instead got a great deal on the ice cap so all i can say is that the ice cap is working great in conjuction with the hamilton and bulb life is near 16 months until a noticeable color shift! I have tried other bulb brands with mixed results in bulb life, but if you do decide to go with the ice cap DO NOT use XM bulbs something about that bulb is not compatible with the ice cap ballast!!
