What was your favorite fish you've owned and why?
Is there anything spectacular your fish ever did or any interesting things you've witnessed them doing?

i saw my flame hawk come in the tank and just sit for three days, docile as a kitten. Then I saw it turn into blue damsel's bane. That damsel was easily top-dog until the flame hawk showed up. Kind of nice to see a damsel getting a taste of its own medicine. Now my new CB and FH are going at it. We'll see who comes out on top. I can't wait. Funny that the damsel is suddenly low on the totem pole.

Butterflys and Angels.... I have 4 Dwarf and 1 Large Angel only 1 Butterfly...maybe I should change my name to ANGLGRL;)

well, there are a lot more beautiful fish, but i have to admit to really enjoying my blennie

i had to have him when i saw him peek-a-booing at the store...he is a joy to watch

My favorites are our Powder Blue Tang and our Puffer. Our Rowder Blue Tang is Gorgeous and very "energentic" personality, and our puffer oh he is so cool, and just very well natured. An boy does he like to eat. LOL

Powder Blue Tang -- curious, semi-aggressive personality, likes to swim. Oh, and gorgeous. :)

Oh me too!!! This is the MOST beautiful fish!!!!

mandarin goby. beautiful colors and watching it go from rock to rock picking off food is just pure fun.

Achilles Tang. Very cool.

The mandarin goby needs a well established tank with plenty of rock for pods. Good rule of thumb is one year, 100 lbs. I've heard of people getting by with as little as 65 lbs, though... I guess it really all depends.

Angels, especially the dwarf species. Absolutely stunning to look at, intelligent and curious, not overly agressive and suited for medium sized tanks so they're great for those of us without enough room to keep tangs :)

My Falco's Hawkfish is my favorite. I love his personality.

I've had a stars and strips puffer I really liked too. He was like a dog the way he would greet me when I came over to the tank (yeah I know he just wanted food). The downside on him was he was as messy as a gold fish, and got way to big for my tank. I had to sell him back to the lfs.

Puffer

Puffer

I'm new to the hobby, and my favorate fish is a puffer because they are ugly. And they got my attention because they stand out.

My vote went out to the tang group.
They are very active, and you can't beat a yellow tang eating frozen cyclopeeze right out of your hand!

Stewie

I aso voted for Tangs. They are always moving and have a curious look to them. It almost seems like yo can train them after having them for awhile. lol

Angels - for their sheer beauty and also coz they are so friendly, never hide away much, and eat out of my hand !
