What kind of clam could it have been?

Hello all I am very new to reefing but I know i want a clam, the one saw in a LFS was a very bright blue almost electric looking, does anyone know what kind this may have been and does it need alot of light? Thank You

It was most likely Tridacna crocea or Tridacna maxima. Both species require a lot of light. (Metal halides being the most popular choice).
