I use interceptor (6) hrs then betadine (1/2)hr. The intercepor is for red bugs that I use for all corals since I keep SPS. If you do not keep SPS, Betadine for 1/2 hour and an inspection should be ok.

I assume it is a hypo saline solution?
No. It is used with water from the tank, but it will clean rocks/corals of flatworms. It contains iodine and is used as a disinfectant. I've used it on many corals as a preventative and as a treatment from brown jelly over the past couple of years.
There are several other similar products on the market.
i've used lugols with LPS before. i usually use a few squirts in the bag i get from the LFS and let it acclimate to the temperature of my tank. i gradually add more and more of my own water into the bag as well. i usually dip for 15-20 minutes. lugols kills off invertabrates pretty well. i do a visual check , and then plop them right in the tank.
I've used Lugols on my LPS corals. I use tank water and follow directions on the bottle. It has usually worked for me on corals that are not looking hot. Wet Web Media has some good info on fresh water dips. HTH.
