What makes a teardrop a teardrop?

The teardrops, give the teardrop the name teardrop... See the droplets? Look like teardrops, hence the name " Teardrop Maxima".:)

get out the checkbook

blahahahaha... True!!!

It's not mine anymore, I needed to sell it for cash to maintain my tank.. I'm a poor 15 year old! However, I have a nice 8 inch Ultra Crocea I bought to make up for it, I only payed 50 dollars... I'll post a pic and about it later so take a look if you wish to...

yeah, that would be great. where are you getting these incredible prices? $50 for an 8" ultra crocea. c'mon, spill the beans!

I have the hook-ups..:D

This particular piece ( crocea ) I had ordered for me by a pal I know in the wholesalers.. It's truly a nice piece.

My teardrop I got from Anthony held onto it for me for 2 weeks or so, and gave me a good deal on it..

:)

Is it the orgin of the clam, the type, or it's coloring?
No, the name comes from peoples' reaction when they see the price tag. Right?

Vili, no I really did sell it.. I needed money to maintain the tank.. I had 2 cents in my pocket, and my teardrop was great, but nothing I couldn't live without..

Here is a pic of the Golden/ Red TearDrop that I got from AquaProp.com. Great looking clam. It was alittle bleached in the middle when I received it but the color is coming back.

This is my favor clam!!!!

Sloth.. Thanks..

From the side.. it looks more golden than Red. But from over head it looks really red.
