Sorry if this question has been asked. But what makes like say for instance this brand on ebay, dvoneb aqua better of worse than say the kent marine model. Please help as I need to by a R/O unit. Thanks...

You'll get a ton of opinions about RO/DI units.
I'll try to sum up my opinion.

Kent is expensive for what you get. I think you're paying for the name more than anything. There are a few standout units available to us reefers. What you are looking for is a Dow Filmtec membrane (75 GPD max) and a vertical DI chamber. I have the filterdirect unit from ebay, and am in the process of changing the horizontal DI canisters to a more standard vertical DI housing.
There are units from AWI (Air Water Ice), Buckeyefield supply, and my personal favorite is www.purelyH2o.com . I do not and never have owned the first two, but I prefer to support Bryan at purelyH2O because he is so active and involved on the boards. He'll help anyone regardless of what type of unit they have and asks for nothing in return.
I have never seen a bad comment about his RO/DI units and he even offers a 10% RC discount with this coupon code RCDJB8HL.
There are lot of good units out there. I choose to support those who I know offer help to others.

that is a good sumation IMO, as well all the companies recomended above are good. units themselves are pretty basic. clear canisters are nice cause you can see what's going on inside but at the same time can cause unwanted growth within the filter.

Just to clarify what has been said,

Do not buy a 100 GPD membrane, and do not buy anything other than unit with a true dow filmtec membrane. There are other membranes the use the dow filmtec materail, but they are not DOW membranes and do not perform as well. Also, anything that is 100GPD or greater will not perform as well as the 75GPD with regards to rejection ratio (this determines how long your resin lasts).
