I have tried using psp to work on photo's but I don't really like it. Maybe I just need to practice a little more. I have seen people talk about PS does that mean paint shop or photo shop by adobe?

I looked at it on the internet and saw it was $650 . For that kinda money it had better be the best!! Is there a cheaper source to get it from or is that the going rate for the full version??

i run photoshop CS2 - but my work buys it for me. it is mad expensive.

you can check out Photoshop Elements 4.0 ... you can usually pick it up for around $50-$80

photoshop elements (bare bone essential stuff) is for sale for like $45? at comp USA this week...er, in CA, not sure about teh rest of the nation

PS CS. I bought it for $299 when I upgraded from the Elements version that came with my camera.

I use Paint Shop Pro 8, but i don't use it all that much lol I know how to get it cheaper........................

I use Capture 1 Pro for processing RAW files, and I use Photoshop CS2 for processing the TIFFs.

Photoshop is the best. It's the bread and butter editing program for photographers worldwide. You won't find another program that surpasses it.

I use microsoft digital image pro 10, I've never used another so I cant compare, but it seems to suit my needs. I think it was around a hundred bucks.

A variety of Photoshops here. Mainstay is 5.5, though for my new Nikon D70S, there are plugins for RAW images (well, Nikons version of RAW), and I end up using CS instead.

I use CS2 and included Camera Raw for raw editing. I'm thinking about trying out some new software for printing, possibly Qimage.

I use Aperture for cataloging and minor tweaking and Photoshop CS2 for anything more in depth.
