What pump for an AquaC EV-150?

Hey all,

I am thinking of buying a used EV-150, without a pump. The current owner uses a mag 5 to drive it, at 500 gph. The owners manual calls for a Rio 2500 though. The Rio is rated at 748 gph, so I was thinking about getting a mag 7 to run it. What would you guys do.

PS- the skimmer and pump will be in my sump.

I used a Rio 20HF on my 180 with good results. I believe most people use a Mag 9.5.

But I think the EV150 is smaller than the 180. So maybe the mag 7 sounds right?
