what size power head

I have a 55 gallon tank. Looking to see what size power head to get. Also how many will i need. My tank is a reef ready tank. Would 1 Maxi Jet 1200 be good. Or is it better to go with 2 power heads at lower GPH

i have a 55 fbh and got a seio 1100 and 1500 on both corners. works great, lots of flow. hth.

You'll probably want the total flow to be 600-1800 gph, depending on the animals you want to keep. What are your plans for the tank?

I have a 55 gallon tank, and I have always read that 10x- 20x flow of your tank is ideal depending on what you want to keep in the tank

yeah it all depends on what corals you want if you actually want any for that matter. I have 1240 gph in my 55 with 2 seio m620's. I have 1 on each side of the middle brace facing the front angled to the sides.
