What type of anemone should I buy for my 2 false percs?

What type of anemone would you reccomend buying to host my 2 false percs? I have heard BTS's.

How easily will a tank raised false perc take to an anemone since they have never been exposed to one like the wild caught.

It depends on what level of difficulty you want to deal with. Also, you say BTS, did you mean BTA (bubble tip anemone)? BTAs are widely considered the easiest of the anemones to care for and false percs will take to them. Carpets are definately a nicer anemone, IMO, but apparently are a bit harder to keep in captivity. As for tank bred clowns not hosting in an anemone, that isn't always true. You have a better shot at WC taking to an anemone but tank raised will also. Also remember, even WC clowns aren't guaranteed to take to the anemone and if they do, it can take quite some time. It took my WC SI percs almost 4 months to take up with my GBTA.

I've got two ocellaris (false percs) in a RBTA. Check out the clown/anemone forum for more info on anemones, pairings with clowns, etc.

As for which anemone to buy that is really up to you because it is personal preference. I have an RBTA that I really like and my two ORA (tank raised) ocellaris host it, but they have also hosted a clam and a colt coral. If you want to get them to host an anemone try placing them in a small tank for a few days (or sump) with only the anemone and they will likely take to it. Once you move it into the tank they should continue to host it, but again it is always a risk.
