Yes I'm speaking from my own personal experience. I ran it for a year and did not notice any difference. And my ICP test show the exact same amount of trace elements before and a year after(eveything in range with the exception of elevated aluminum which was attributed to marine pure) Also we all know there are issues with the methods and subsequent results of ICP tests. So why even mention ICP testing?
I personally feel a lot of Red Sea stuff is quite a bit of placebo effect. But hey, if you want to keep throwing unknown stuff into your tank, then by all means have at it. I'm just sharing my experience which apparently because I dpn't have a huge tank and 50 years experience is not valid in your eyes.
Sorry I even post around here sometimes. And people wonder why RC is dying. It's all the old stiffs that know it all and post like it and no one else experience is valid.
Apologizes on my part for my less than tactful reply, I let your "snake oil" jab get to me. Having had conversations with the chemist at Red Sea who developed their Colors Program I can assure you the product is not snake oil. Yes Red Sea relied on ICP testing themselves in determining the quantities of chemicals they included in their colors program and while not perfect, ICP testing is the best methodology currently available. Sorry your results were not as positive with their product as mine.
