what else should I do ???
tks

Carlos,
both !! lights on DC other equipments (ie, pumps) on X-10s !! but today the controller seems to be working just fine !! can you explain what did happen??

Curt,

Both !!!

The lights on the DC and the equipment on X-10s !!
The DC and X-10s was not responding the "on / off" comands from the aquacontroller unit !!! It seems to me that the unit got lost on the clock time !! like the act lights were supposed to be on from 14hs to 22hs and it turned off by 20hs and did not came on again even with the "on / off " comand this lights is plugged on the DCs !! even when I turned off the unit plus took off the 9 v battery the "on / off " command did not turn on again !! After 2 hs trying to figer out what was going on I quited !! this morning I did the "on / off " comand and did work it !!! can you belive it??!! I went home for lunch today and every thing was working fine, all the lights and equipments....
Have any ideas whats wrong with it??
tks,
Ed

I suspect a connection problem. Check all the RJ11 connections for corrossion or bent pins. I don't think that it is problem with the controller as power cycling didn't help.
When you had control problems was the LED on the control interface blinking off when commands were sent?
Are you RJ11 cords less than 10 feet long?
Did you try connecting a single connection to each DC4 or control interface (one at a time) to see if communication was possible?

Curt,
every thing was working just fine !! and this event happens just once....I don't think it was a conection problem and all the cables are close to the controller and the control interface was blinking after the on/off command ! do you think it could be a energy variation??
tks,,,,,

The only thing that I can think that could possibly cause the problem was excessive electrical noise on the power lines. With the control interface plugged into the Direct Connect chain, the control synchronization signal may have been corrupted. This corrupted sync signal would be propagated by the DCXs, and may have resulted in a communication failure.
If this were the case then the red light on the control interface would be off since the AquaController is continuously trying to send commands, but is unsuccessful). As soon as the control interface is unplugged, control to the direct connect boxes should start working normally.

I thing I found what may be the problem !! I have the tunze multicontroller 7095 !! when you hit the food timer on the multicontroller, the program from the multicontroller starts the pump for like just 1s or so. I notice that when the signal is send from the multicontroller the control interfaces blink, and this may be "confusing" the aquacontroller !! So what I did, was changing the tunze pumps from the same electrical circuit where the aquacontroller is, I will be checking if this is the problems or not !! I will let you know....tks....
