Wheeler's goby

Do they sift sand or only Watchman?
Looking to get a trio with maybe a pistol shrimp.

I'm looking for personnality fish like clowns and those goby do better in group.

Any experience? pics?

After a year of not having my Yellow Watchman pair with my Randall's Pistol I bought a Wheelers Watchman.

The Wheeler's paired up with my shrimp the first night. Personally, I really like the Wheeler's. It doesn't sift sand, but is almost always out and visible doing his guard duty to the shrimp. I am fortunate in that the burrow is right in the front corner of my tank. It doesn't stray far from the burrow entrance so if the burrow was on the back side, I would never see him.

I would say go for it. Relatively inexpensive. Eats anything. Not too shy (not including the first week). Red and white stripes match my Randall's pistol really well.
