Tank specs:
Ammonia/Nitrate/Nitire = 0
15 lbs of lv rock

Excalibur Protein Skimmer
2 - 200 Aquaclear filters
1 - powerhead for circulatoin wich adds with the flow of the 2 aquaclears
1 - 200 watt heater
2 - 96 watt PC's = 1 - 10,000K daylight and 1 - 1 Actinic 03

Tank demintions = 36X18X16

Now i am wonder what do i have to put in the water like additives suchs as calcium and others.

Any info would be great ful. Also i wanted to keep a Derasa or a Squamosa.

You should have received the reply by now but I will answer what I can for you.

I would wait a while longer before introducing a clam to your tank. You want to make sure that things are really stable, such as pH which is important in keeping clams. Bring your ca. level up over 400ppm

Can't say much about the aquaclear filter as I am not familiar with it.

Since you tank isn't deep, keeping a Squamosa you should be fine with that lighting IMO.

While you are waiting for tank to settle down I would suggest buying Daniel Knop book " Giant Clams" I think you will find it very helpful. On my site under "link" you will also find some good reading regarding clams. Enjoy.
