Where 2 buy replacement glass?

I have decided to use my broken 40 breeder as a sump. Where locally is the best place to buy replacement glass? Thanks, Justin


Also, any place local that carries reefcrystals? I plan on ordering from F&S but need some right now as I'm not home too often.

If you wanna pay a fortune I know for sure aquatic imports carry's it. I think Advance aquarium carry's. Will be pricey at the lfs though. Petsmart might carry it though not positive. If they do go online and print out the online price they match it at the store if you have it printed out!

i've used tri city glass for all kinds of stuff. not sure where you are located and what is near you.

J, try Packerland Glass, tell Wendy or Joe that Jason the fish tank guy sent you, and make sure they sell you plate glass... Ask about "seconds" or not so perfect... as a scratch or blemish will not matter.

How soon do you need the RC? I think I've got a bucket you can borrow until you order, then you can just give me the new one. Not sure if you'll want to come pick it up...too bad I read this late, as I'll be heading up to GB in about 15 minutes...

Thanks anyway RCS, I picked up a 25 gal box of RC from Advanced today to hold me off. I took out 30 gals of water yesterday then realized I only had 3 cups of salt.
Thanks Jason for the hook up at Packerland glass, I picked up the replacement today. They dont sell scrathed glass anymore
(to me anyway) but still only paid $20 for a 16" X 36" sheet. Good deal.
Got one more question for ya. Is there any easy way of getting this broken pane of glass off?

Yeah... um, there's already "U-Tube" footage of me removing a broken pane... thanks to Mako.... and Bryan... a gentle hammer and a carefull and patient persuation... get all the old silicone off!
