Where are the Non Indo Lord Colonies?

Whenever I see pictures posted of these they are almost always small frags / colonies. Where are all of the larger colonies? Just curious. If you do have one please post. Thanks!

well, they usually grow increadibly slowly and end up costing 100+/polyp so colonies take forever to grow and cost a ton to buy.

This is the biggest one I have, Its probably about 60 polyps - I'm gonna shave off a few for trades but I don't think the colony will get any smaller. It stays smushed together cuz there is nowhere else to grow.

I am sure these questions have been asked before but I am going to ask anyway.

Can the Japanese buy these at thier local lfs?

More to the point are there any circumstances that allow a visitor to Japan bring any number of these corals back to the states?

I have a friend who is going to Japan for a week in Feb 07 and would be willing to bring some back for me if at all possible.

you need some serious permits to bring live animals into the united states.
