where does PHOSPHATE come from?

I seem to always have high phosphate levels, i only use RO/DI water for topoff and water changes, and all i add is b-ionic. So where does phosphate come from? Is there something in aquariums that produces phosphate?

All food will contain phosphate, and sometimes, live rock is contaminated with it, as well. Most often, the source is food.

Or if you´re running a calcium reactor, some times media contains PO4.......
