which calcium reactor media?

i am in the process of setting up a calcium reactor (Knop C) on my 58g. SPS reef and really dont know what media would be the best to use in it. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Also, I am currently dosing B-ionic daily, what real benefits should I see after I make the switch?

A good media for calcium reactors is a large grain Schuran type media. I use CRM Gen-X media in my reactor. I don't think you will see any real difference after adding the calcium reactor (at least if you are dosing correctly). The real benefit of having a calcium reactor is the consistency and automation.
