What type of glass or acrylic could I use as a guard for my MH inside my canopy?? Im planning on having adjustability for the MH's inside the canopy, but at there lowest point Id like to have some type of splash guard that wont disperse the light. Acrylic seems it would work but if to close wouldnt it melt, or couldnt it haze badly and crack?

If you use glass you would need to have it be the type used in coffee pots and pyrex otherwise it will crack. Typical tempered glass wouldn't even work.
