Which Lens to pick

Hi everyone,

I need some expert advice.

I have a Sony DSC-S60 Digital Camera and would like to get a Macro Lens for it for shots of my tank. I would also like to just take better pictures (non-tank related, mainly outdoor pictures, vacations, my nephew, etc....)

I am trying to pick between these 2 E-Bay Auctions

Auction A - Macro Lens

Basically i know what I'm getting with this one.

Auction B - Other lens

With Auction B You get the Wide Angle lens there (No explanation needed) but you also get a telephoto lens.

Does anyone think that I could tank good tank pictures with the telephoto lens?

Which one would you get? Auction A or B?

the second auction would obviously be a better overall solution, and yes a telephoto could be used for tank images, although you'll lose depth of field. I used a tele as a cheater macro for years. the down sides are that you'll lose probably a stop on your exposure, and you'll have to increase your shutter speed to compensate for the increased focal length.
