which wavebox

i have a 120 48x24x24 can i use the nano wave box or the regular one? if i choose the nano how much wave action can i get?

I believe Roger said he has put them both in this size tank and got about the same wave out of both which was 1"

I admit untill Roger said this recently I would have expacted the larger to still generate more in that size tank

I would get the nano wavebox, in a smaller tank like a 120 the wavebox doesn't add enough increase in waveheight to justify the added expense and bulk, a 6212 if perfectly tuned on a 4ft tank may give you a 1/4- 1/2" bigger wave, the 6206 will do an 1" wave for sure and it is easier to tune for smaller tanks as the pulse frequency of the controller is biased toward pulsing faster for smaller tanks.

Now if i can just find one LFS selling these or should i wait for RAP on a deal?

I doubt there will be any deals on them as supply is fairly limited, if you can find one I would get it, so far 65 have come into the US.
