White Dots all over glass

I dont have a pic but I am sure that it is common to have little white round dots that are forming all over the glass areas of the tank. It is more prevelent in the overflow box. Just wondering if anyone knows what this is and is it harmful in any way?

Probably pods. Is you tank new? Have you in the last few months put live rock in your tank? PODS are great for you tank. Take a flashlight at night and see if you find little creatures swimming around your rock.

I have seen many pods swimming around at night but these are stationary and dont move.

They are most likely safe and fine. I'm going to guess either Spirobid Worms, Q-Tip Sponges, or new coralline growth.

They are spirobid worms. Wow they are tiny. Have to use a microscope to even see them.
