White Fuzz on Zoa

Should I be concerned that I have some white fuzz growing on my Zoa coral frag?

How are your zoas doing? I just found the same thing on my green star polyps. I almost think it's a sponge of some sort. I ended up removing it but I was wondering if this fuzzy thing was detrimental to your zoas.

I also think they are sponges. My ended up disappearing one day, maybe the emerald crab ate it? Either way the coral is fine...didn't seem to affect it in anyway.
