Who in the Area makes Acrylic Tanks?

My girlfriend got the bright idea that she's going to get me a custom Acrylic tank for my birthday...don't know where she got that idea from .

I was wondering who all makes custom tanks in the 20-30 gallon range. The tank is going to be SPS dominant, and a few clams. Only 2 clowns as far as fish go. I only have a 150 MH Aqualight, and was wondering the dimensions that would light up throughly. I know the height can't be more than 12" for light penetration to get to the bottom, but other than that I don't know about length and width. Hopefully someone here will educate me on this.

I'll have a 20g Long Sump for sure hooked to the tank, and would need the holes on the side due to the place in which it will be going. Now that I got a new job, I should be visiting the stores more often, and getting more corals on a regular basis.

If anyone has any SPS coral frags for sale, give me a PM, and I'll probably buy it off you.

Will be eagerly awaiting your comments. Hope to find someone local to build the tank for me and my girlfriend.

Well, Gary doesn't make them. But he has someone who does excellent work. See our local 600G tank thread. And there's another, but I don't remember the name.

I am not sure a tank that small would be cost effecient in acrylic. Is there a reason you are not going with glass?

If a 20 gallon crack it would be no BIG deal............... If a 600 would crack.... I hope you have good INS!!!

Having been through it TWICE in the recent past, to me, ANY tank cracked is a big deal!

Well I'm wanting multiply outputs, which will be drilled in the back glass, so that would be hard to do with a glass tank. I also just flat out like the look of acrylics better. They don't have the black runners, and I like the euro bracing. Not to mention, they just look clearer to me, I know some do not agree with that, but I think they are .
