I should add that Elos USA went bankrupt (Chinese competition is a *****) and the Italian designed Elos products are now distributed by Coralvue.

Elos USA did not go bankrupt. They just went with a different distruberter.
Elos hands down is the best. Cadlights looks nice but there are a ton of terrible customer service stories.
Elos is the priciest out of the bunch but IMHO is worth the price. You get what you pay for.

I have a midi and love it.
What do you want to keep? The mini is only around 20 gallons and the midi is 36 gallons

I would like to keep just millepora's and some chalices. I know I'm asking for a lot but it would look awesome if possible.

I have a Elos mini system and couldn't be happier! The finish is top notch and I modified the sump to have a refugium in the freshwater reservoir. Also, depending on the color combo you have, IKEA BESTA makes nice cabinets that you can place near the tank to hide additional equipment. I will post a picture of my setup later tonight

Elos Mini or Midi is by far the highest quality and has a price to go with it. Next would be Pico Aquariums.

I have an elos midi with a AI hydra and it seems to be perfect. You can go a more affordable route by buying everything but the stand for the midi for $1000. Then you could go to IKEA and buy a stand or better yet build one. Or you could do the whole setup for $1500. You could get the elos mini without the stand for $720 or with the stand for $1300.
If it were me the midi is the way to go. The mini is very nice but you might as well spend the extra $200.
