Hello Guys,

Saltwater Endeavors in Jupiter is having a crazy sale this weekend. I just picked up 2 AquaMedic Calcium Reactors 1000 for 99.00 each! I'm going to use one as the calcium reactor and the other i just converted to a kalkwasser reactor... great deal considering that the SP3000 pump that each one brings goes for around 80 bucks by itself.

Here are some picks of the new calcium,... whoops i mean kalk reactor :smokin:

what gas are you pumping 110 octane?
The frikin place is in jupiter by the time I drive up go to eat and come back I spent $200w/o buying the reactor LOL

I drove up to WPB today and thought about going up to Saltwater Endeavors, but I did not have enough time to go all the way up to Jupiter. Now I wish I would have gone.

You guys should setup a car pool up here .... The aquamedic are a lot nicer than i thought they would be. I was like, heck for 99 beans why note considering I couldn't even get a semi DIY unit from ebay for that price.

One thing that is really nice about these units is that they have a needle wheel on the reverse flow recirc pump.... so your CO2 feed line feeds into a venturi that gets drawn into a needle wheel , then pumped under the media to flow upwards. I'm not aware of any other vendors having needle wheels on the recirc pumps.

jman your mailbox is full, anyways could you take some more pics of how you ran yours, please? i dont know where anything goes plus this is the first one i have ever bought.

jupiter is only an hour north  the job im doing right now is in jupiter and i have to be there by 8 am every morning ! hey at least its a job ( thats what i keep tellin myself :p )

sure thing bishoptaner,

Are you trying to run it as a calcium or kalkwasser reactor ? If you take a quick look at the third pic that i posted you will see the two bottom left ports.

The one on the left is the one that is feeding fresh water into the reactor via the pump , the one directly to the right is the one that is your line that you run into the sump

The top right port is the co2 feed if your running it as a calcium reactor, since i don't need this for a kalkreactor, i closed it off with the supply materials.

Man they sold out of those things quick , they had like 10 of them. It was a one time sale :(
