Will a micron bag block the Ich parasite?

I want to prevent ich travelling from one tank to another. If I filter the point of connection with a micron bag, will that block or capture the ich parasite? What size micron bag would I need?

the holding tank/quarantine tank overflows into the sump through a bulkhead. I want to put a micron bag on that overflow bulkhead.

I don't think a micron bag would be effective in this application.

A powerful UV light can be helpful for preventing the spread of ich when placed in the water flow between tanks in a multitank system.
