Will a second clown be OK?

A month ago I got 2 false percs. The small one was great from day one. He ate like a hog and has been very healthy. The big one would never eat, sometimes he would go after the food but not eat it. Will I determined he had brook and with formulin treatments he still didn't make it and died 4 days ago. The small one never showed any signs of an illness and is still a healthy as can be.
My question is can I add another false perc to take the place of the one that died. I'm not really looking for pair to breed (it would be nice though). I just want them to be able to get along.
The tank is a 29 with 37 pounds of LR and no other fish yet, there will be in the future though. Thanks.

I would say yes, you could add another one, please if at all possible qaurantine your new arrival when you get it. I would also be careful on how many fish you put into a 29 gal. tank

I would wait a week or 2 to make sure none of your fish are sick.
