wondering if a single halide 175watt with a bat wing reflector would cover a tank that has a 30x24 footprint the corals would all be more centrally located with only zoos around the bottom and maybe a few clams and i would have 2 24 inch t5's for actinic supplemantation any sps would be near the surface the tank would be 22 inches deep with a 1-2 inch sandbed so i only need to penatrate 20 inches

I would go 250watt but i am trying to use parts i already own and i already have a 175 watt cap and coil as well as the t5's

I think it sounds adequate, especially with the t5's.

Does the tank have a center brace? If not you should be good to go. If it does you will have a shadow in the middle.
