will octos eat horseshoe crabs?

don't know for sure,but they'll
make a meal of any other motile

I havn't tried that either, but it is an interesting one.....
I would reckon on it eating a horse shoe crab but you never know... that certainly would be a good detritivore for a octo-aquarium.

I don't know of any one who has tried it, but I do know horseshoe crabs do not do well in the home aquaria.
just a followup- i did a little searching around in the forums (because i was starting to get interested in them as a possible pet) and learned that hore shore crabs, even though you can buy them small, will grow to 2 feet. Also someone said that they will eat all the critters in your sand and then will go to the rocks and will knock over all the rocks and then starve after they eat everything... just a FYI....
